Sew and Fit Trousers

The Ultimate Trousers sewing pattern is the perfect choice for an advanced beginner who wants to delve into trouser making without any of the complicated or confusing techniques. With no tricky fly to contend with, the Ultimate Trousers fasten with an invisible side zip. The waistline is finished with a facing and the trousers are machine hemmed. Made up of only four pattern pieces it’s hard to go wrong.

And, of course we are here to help you every step of the way with construction and fit.

Slim fitting, ankle grazing and flattering for so many figures, the Ultimate Trousers will be your go-to trouser pattern.

This class follows the Sew Over It Ultimate Trouser Pattern. This pattern runs from sizes (waist) 24 inches to 38 inches and hips 34 inches to 48 inches. Please ensure this pattern will fit you before signing up for the class.

What's included:
As well as all the tea you can drink, we will provide the sewing machines, all of the tools and threads you will need to complete your projects as well as any interfacing that you will need.

What do I need to bring:
You will need to bring the fabric for your trousers and an invisible zip. You are free to bring this with you or we have fabric avalible to buy in the studio.

Who is this class for?
This class is for you if you have used a sewing machine before and completed some dressmaking projects before and you feel ready to take on more complex sewing pattern.

This class is not for you if:
You have never used a sewing machine before - we recommend completing one of our beginners classes first.

Cancellations or amendments can only be made to your booking within 48 hours of booking. Cancellations or amendments are not permitted after 48 hours of booking.
In the unlikely event that we must cancel the class a full refund will be given, or you can choose to move your booking to another class of the same value. We will give you as much notice as possible by emailing you and/or telephoning on the number provided at the time of booking.
All classes must be paid for in advance. Bookings are securely processed via the website. Sew You Can do not store or access your bank details, these are processed securely by Stripe of Paypal.
By booking a class you consent to receive emails from Sew You Can, you may opt out of this at any time.
Complementary lunch is provided on our all-day classes. This consists of soup and a sandwich option. The soup will be vegetarian and there will be at least one choice of vegetarian sandwich. Unfortunately, we cannot cater for any other dietary requirements.

PLEASE NOTE: Our studio is on the first floor and there is no lift.
